This is My Job...

It's had it's good points... it's had it's bad points... but I suppose all jobs do. I decided to post a "photo essay"of the last 9 months of my work and hopefully provide you with a brief glimpse into this part of my world.

This is a flow monitor. It uses a Dopplar signal to measure depth and velocity of flow in a pipe and then uses the parameters of the pipe to calculate the flow (Q=VA).

These little guys collect data 24/7. The data obtained is compiled and used to figure out what exactly is going on in a system and Engineers use the data in design.

One of the things that our company does is install and maintain these monitors and analyze the data collected.
