As the title suggests, it is indeed Friday, and I am tired.
I had two exams yesterday, construction estimating and planning and Latin American History. The construction exam went well, but LA history was another story. First off, I walk into class and learn we needed a blue book, which I didn't have. So I run to the bookstore and use my credit card to buy a 32 cent book so that I can write the ONE essay question that we have to answer. I also didn't realize that our exam consisted of a single essay question, I don't usually get those in engineering. If I had known that I probably would have studied a little differently. Oh well.
Then today I had an exam in Ground Water Modeling. It went ok, I probably didn't put as much effort into studying that I should have. But I was busy studying for my other exams and preparing for my interview.
So I had an interview this morning with a company called XCG, I thought it went well. They specialize in water resource management, water quality, and so forth. I would be doing a everything from design to modeling to field work. The people seemed pretty cool, I mean, one of the engineers had dreadlocks (and I was worried that my hair wasn't short enough).
One of the guys kept wanting to call me Charles, which I thought was funny. He thought it would blow over my head but he got excited when I got his reference. Thanks Robert Redford.
Tomorrow I am going to spend my day working on Senior Design and doing research on my Latin American History project. There is an Athletes In Action retreat this weekend that I was planning on going to, but we have our mid term review for Senior Design on Monday and I wouldn't want to let Gregg down.
But tonight I am going to rest. I spent most of my afternoon reading, I got my copy of Irresistable Revolution yesterday, and I am about half way through.
Tonight is the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics so I think that I am going to watch that.
Maybe I'll take time to check out the new rec center tomorrow during a break.

Does that same reference account for the title of this page??
Yes it does, I was trying to be witty when I titled it... and that's all I could come up with
Is this an interview for co-op or a "real" job...?
It was for a "real" job
ooooh. did you get it?
so i might have a blog for my dr trip.......my question is....if i want to add you (and/or) others as friends....how do i do that?
I assume you are using blogspot. If you are you have to mess with html, but it's easy.
Click on the link on the side under the names that says "Powered by BlogRolling"
You set up a free account. It will give you an html code that you copy and past into your blog.
The account makes it easy, you just go to the blogrolling site, they have it set up so all you have to do is enter the name and web address and it puts it on your blog without messing with html each time you want to add a link.
If you can't figure it out I can show you in the lab sometime.
