Pre Nationals

I just got back from Terra Haute, Indiana. I was at the NCAA Div. 1 Pre National cross country meet. Basically it's a meet held on the same course that will be used for the National Championships, it gives teams a chance to become familiar with the course and run against some good competition.
We did ok, neither the guys or the girls teams did as well as they hoped or are capable of, but that happens. I had a pretty good race, I finished just behind Randy King in 27:23 for an 8k.
I posted a bunch of pictures from the trip on my second webshots site, you can link to them under the second pictures link on the side.
Now I have to get to work on my Reinforced Concrete homework which is due Monday.

It's not concrete, it's Reinforced Concrete Design, and yea I got it done.
It really is fun, we're learning about the basic mechanics of structural concrete and methods for the design of individual members for bending, shear, torsion, and axial forces. And also applications in the various types of structural systems, including slabs, footings, foundations, and retaining walls.
